# Buying credits

Credits are bought in fixed packs, paid for through Stripe, and land on your
balance automatically as soon as the payment succeeds. You can buy a pack on
any plan, including Basic, and credits never expire.

## Where to buy credits

The **Purchase Credits** window opens from a few places once you're signed
in, always showing the same four packs:

- **Settings → Credits & usage → Buy credits**.
- the **+ Top up** link on the workspace card in your avatar menu (owner
  only).
- **Plans & Billing** → **Buy Credits**.
- Automatically, whenever an action would cost more credits than you have:
  ListPlus opens the same window with a note about what you were trying to
  do. Buying credits doesn't resume that action for you — top up, then run
  the action again yourself.

Buying credits needs a signed-in account. Anonymous visitors see no
balance; **Plans & Billing → Buy Credits** asks them to sign up first (free,
no credit card needed) before the purchase window opens.

## Buying credits in a workspace

Credits you buy always go to **your own** balance, and your balance pays for
the workspaces you own. In a workspace someone else owns, everything is paid
from the owner's balance: there is no **Buy Credits** button on Plans &
Billing, and the places above open a note ("Balance empty – please ask … to
top up") instead of the Purchase Credits window. Ask the owner to top up. See

## The four packs

With Pro or Premium, credits cost 40% less: about €0.03 / $0.035 per credit
instead of €0.05 / $0.06 on Basic. The Purchase Credits window always shows
the prices of the plan of the workspace owner who pays; on Basic it adds the
note "With Pro or Premium, credits cost 40% less." Credits never expire —
not when the month ends, not when you change or cancel your plan.

You pay in euros if you're in Europe (EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland or the
Balkans) and in US dollars everywhere else, based on the country you're
paying from — the same rule as for plans (see "Why do I see prices in
dollars?" in "[Plans and pricing](https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/plans-and-pricing)"). These four pack names (Starter, Basic,
Pro, Enterprise) only label credit packs — they are not your subscription
plan. Your plan is Basic, Pro or Premium (see "[Plans and pricing](https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/plans-and-pricing)"); there is
no Enterprise plan. MOST POPULAR and BEST VALUE are fixed labels on the
Basic and Enterprise packs, not a ranking that changes. "% cheaper", shown
on a card whose price per credit is lower than the Starter pack's, compares
the two — the Starter pack is the baseline everything else is measured
against. On Basic only the Enterprise pack is cheaper per credit; the other
cards show their rate per credit instead.

## How checkout works

The window opens with the Basic pack preselected. Click a card to select a
different pack, then click the buy button at the bottom, for example **Buy
500 Cr · €15** (with Pro or Premium). This takes you to the checkout page in the same tab. ListPlus sells
through Stripe Managed Payments, so the name on that page and on your
invoice is Sold Through Link, LLC, a Stripe company that handles the sale
for us as merchant of record ("Sold through Link"). The checkout
accepts cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and, in some countries, local
payment methods, and adds VAT or sales tax for your country on top of the
net price, calculated from your billing address — see "[Invoices and VAT](https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/invoices-and-vat)"
for details.

## When credits arrive, and where you land

Credits are added to your balance as soon as Stripe confirms the payment,
normally within a few seconds of finishing checkout. You're first returned
to Plans & Billing, then automatically taken on to Home about two seconds
later — your balance is normally already updated by the time you land there.

## If payment fails or you close the window

If you cancel checkout, close the tab, or the payment doesn't go through,
you're simply returned to Plans & Billing with nothing charged and no
credits added. You can start the purchase again at any time; nothing about
your account or existing credits changes.

## Invoices

Every credit pack produces an invoice automatically: Link emails you a
receipt and an invoice with tax shown, with PDFs attached, and the order
appears in your history at link.com and under **Settings → Plan &
billing → Invoices**; no email to support needed. Every purchase also appears as PURCHASE
with its amount on the Credits & usage page, so you always have a record
even before you check the invoice — see "[Invoices and VAT](https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/invoices-and-vat)" for more.

## For advanced users

Each payment is credited to your balance once, matched to the pack you paid
for. If your balance hasn't updated within a couple of minutes of a
completed payment, contact support@listplus.ai with the approximate time of
purchase.

## FAQ

### How do I buy credits?

Open Settings → Credits & usage and click Buy credits, or click + Top up on the workspace card in your avatar menu (clicking your balance in the left rail also takes you to Credits & usage) — the Purchase Credits window opens. Select a pack and click the buy button to pay through Stripe; credits land as soon as payment succeeds. In a workspace you don't own you see Ask for credits instead, because only the owner can top up.

### Which credit packs are there and what do they cost?

There are four packs — with Pro or Premium: Starter (150 credits, €5/$6), Basic (500 credits, €15/$18), Pro (1,000 credits, €30/$35) and Enterprise (3,500 credits, €100/$115). On Basic they cost €7.50/$9, €25/$30, €50/$60 and €165/$199, so with a subscription every credit costs 40% less. You pay in dollars outside Europe and in euros inside it.

### Which pack is the best value?

The Enterprise pack (3,500 credits, €100 with Pro or Premium, €165 on Basic) has the lowest price per credit, about 2.9 cents with a subscription, and carries the BEST VALUE label. The Basic pack (500 credits, €15) carries the MOST POPULAR label — these are fixed labels on those two packs, not a live ranking.

### What does the "% cheaper" note on a pack mean?

It shows how much less you pay per credit on that pack compared with the smallest pack, Starter. The Starter pack itself shows no percentage, since it's the baseline every other pack is compared against; a pack with the same rate as Starter shows its rate per credit instead.

### Can I buy a custom number of credits?

No — there are only the four fixed packs (150, 500, 1,000 or 3,500 credits); there's no option to enter a custom amount. If none of the sizes fit, buy the closest one and top up again later.

### Do several credit purchases add up?

Yes. Every pack you buy adds its credits to the same balance, so you can buy as many packs as you like, at any time, and they all stack — there's no limit on how many purchases you make.

### Which payment methods are accepted?

ListPlus sells through Stripe Managed Payments; its checkout accepts cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and, in some countries, local payment methods. Payment is handled entirely on Stripe's secure checkout page, not inside ListPlus, and the sale is handled there by Sold Through Link, LLC, a Stripe company, as our merchant of record.

### Can I pay by bank transfer, SEPA direct debit or PayPal?

The checkout decides which methods it offers in your country: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link everywhere, plus some local methods. ListPlus can't add a method the checkout doesn't show — an alternative isn't guaranteed.

### Do I need a paid plan to buy credits?

No. Credit packs are available on every plan, including Basic, since credits and plans are billed separately. You do need a signed-in ListPlus account; anonymous visitors are asked to sign up first.

### When do purchased credits show up in my balance?

Credits are added automatically as soon as Stripe confirms your payment, normally within a few seconds. Your balance updates on its own — no manual refresh or claim step needed.

### Where do I end up after paying?

You're first sent back to Plans & Billing, then automatically on to Home about two seconds later. If you opened the purchase window because an action was blocked, that action doesn't resume by itself — go back and run it again once you're topped up; a stopped AI Research run has a Resume button instead.

### I paid but don't see the credits — what now?

Give it a couple of minutes after checkout, since crediting happens right after Stripe confirms the payment and can occasionally lag slightly. If your balance still hasn't updated after that, contact support@listplus.ai with the approximate time of purchase and they'll sort it out.

### Is there automatic top-up when I run low?

No. ListPlus never charges you automatically — you always pick a pack and confirm the purchase yourself.

### Where do I get the invoice for a credit pack?

Link emails it to you right after the payment, with the PDF attached; the order is also in your history at link.com and listed under Settings → Plan & billing → Invoices. There's no need to email support for it.

### Why do credits cost more on Basic?

Basic has no subscription, so credits cost €0.05/$0.06 each. With Pro or Premium every credit costs 40% less — about €0.03/$0.035. Credits you already bought keep their full value on every plan and never expire.
