Starting a search from a link (deep links)
You can open Person Search with a person already filled in, or even already searched, by adding parameters to its URL — useful for linking into ListPlus from a CRM, an email tool or your own script.
The parameters#
Add these after https://listplus.ai/app/search?:
| Parameter | What it does |
|---|---|
q | Free text — parsed by AI, same as typing it in the box |
first_name, last_name, name (or full_name) | A person's name, understood directly (no AI parsing) |
company, domain | Company name or domain |
email | An email address |
linkedin, company_linkedin | A person's or company's LinkedIn URL |
job_title, city, country, phone, website | Extra signals that narrow down the match |
autosearch=true | Start the search immediately instead of just filling the box |
addons=a,b,c | Auto-run add-ons (such as a verified email lookup) once the result loads |
Example:
https://listplus.ai/app/search?first_name=Torben&last_name=Schulz&company=Rows&autosearch=true&addons=prospeo_linkedin,serper_news
Parameter names are not case-sensitive and ignore underscores, so
first_name, firstName and firstname all work — first_name is the
form to use when you're writing the link by hand.
Safety limits on add-ons#
An addons link can only auto-run up to 4 add-ons, and only ones whose
price is at or below a set limit (see the price list) — anything more expensive, or available
only on Premium, is skipped and stays a manual click in the profile
instead. The mobile reveal is the usual example: a link can
name it, but it never runs by itself; you click it in the profile, and
above a certain amount ListPlus asks you to confirm the cost first, as it does for
every add-on you click yourself. This keeps a link from silently running
up a large charge on your account. Add-ons only auto-run when you're
signed in, and only the first four ids in the list count, even if some of
them are skipped.
Where to look up every add-on id#
A reference page lists every available add-on id and its price (all prices are also in "Price list: what every action costs"), plus the worked example above: open listplus.ai/app/search/help in a browser. It isn't linked from the app's navigation — bookmark it if you're building links regularly.
Links to a specific row or a contact on the Watchlist#
ListPlus also creates links that open one exact record: the Open in
ListPlus links in pipeline messages (Slack and e-mail digests) open either
the row in its list — selected, with the record panel open — or the contact
or company on the Watchlist, with its detail view open. These links only work when you're
signed in and a member of the workspace the record belongs to. The Watchlist
lives at listplus.ai/app/watchlist.

FAQ#
Can I open Person Search with a person already filled in?#
Yes — add parameters like first_name, last_name and company (or a free-text q) to the /app/search URL, and ListPlus fills the search box with them. Add autosearch=true to also run the search immediately instead of waiting for a click.
Which parameters can I use in the link?#
Name parts (first_name, last_name, name), company, domain, email, linkedin, company_linkedin, and the extra signals job_title, city, country, phone, website — or a single free-text q that ListPlus parses with AI. The full reference with examples is at listplus.ai/app/search/help.
How do I make the link run the search automatically?#
Add autosearch=true to the URL. Without it, ListPlus only fills the search box and waits for you to click Search.
Can a link also trigger add-ons, like finding a verified email?#
Yes — add addons= followed by a comma-separated list of add-on ids, and ListPlus runs them automatically once the profile loads, the same as clicking them by hand. The full list of ids and their prices is on the reference page. Only use links you created yourself or trust.
Are there limits on what a link can auto-run?#
Yes. Add-ons in a link only run when you're signed in, and only a limited number per link. Only open ListPlus links that run add-ons from sources you trust.
Do the parameter names need exact capitalization?#
No — first_name, firstName and firstname are all understood the same way, but writing links with underscores (first_name) is the documented form to use.
Where can I see the full parameter and add-on reference?#
Open listplus.ai/app/search/help in a browser — it lists every parameter, every add-on id with its price, and a working example URL. It's a standalone reference page, not linked from the app's own navigation.
