Connecting a CRM, spreadsheet or other app
On the New List page, the "Connect a system" section lets you pull records straight from another app into a new list, instead of uploading a file. Four tiles are shown: Google Sheets, HubSpot, Attio and 3,000+ apps. The last one opens the Choose an app window, where you can search for Airtable, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion, Stripe, Lemlist, Phantombuster, Zoom or many other systems.
How connecting works#
- Click a source under "Connect a system", or find one via 3,000+ apps (the "Choose an app" window).
- A connection dialog opens in the page. Click Continue: that service's own secure sign-in window opens — log in and approve access there, not in ListPlus.
- Pick the account that just connected (or Connect new account to add another), then choose what to import.
- Choose what to import (and, for Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Stripe, an optional filter — see below). You see a preview of the data before the import actually runs.
What gets locked by plan#
Nothing that goes through a connected tool works on Basic: connecting an account, importing, reloading, syncing back, exporting to Google Sheets and pipeline targets that reach a connected tool all need Pro at least. Google Sheets, Airtable, Lemlist, Phantombuster, Zoom and any other app from the catalogue need Pro to import; HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Attio, Notion and Stripe need Premium (HubSpot needs Premium everywhere, a pipeline to Salesforce, Pipedrive or Attio only Pro). In a workspace, the workspace owner's plan counts, not yours. A locked source shows a lock icon and, if you click it, a short screen explaining which plan unlocks it — see "Why is a connection locked, and what do I see?" in Which plan do I need for exactly what that looks like.
What each system imports#
- Attio — People, Companies, or A list (you then pick one of your Attio lists). Deals and custom objects can't be picked as a data type of their own. The list gets one column per Attio attribute, named by its title, including attributes that are empty; see the FAQ on Attio columns.
- HubSpot — Deals, Companies, or Contacts.
- Salesforce — Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, or Leads.
- Pipedrive — Deals, Persons, Organizations, or Activities.
- Google Sheets — pick a spreadsheet, then a specific sheet.
- Airtable — pick a base, then a specific table; all its records import.
- Notion — pick a database shared with the connection; its records import.
- Stripe — Customers, Charges, Invoices, Subscriptions, or Payment Intents.
- Lemlist — Leads from the campaigns you pick (all are selected by default), or Unsubscribes.
- Phantombuster — one of your lead lists, or the latest run's output for a specific agent.
- Zoom — a webinar's Registrants, or its Participants (who actually joined).
Filtering what you import#
For Attio (People and Companies; not "A list"), HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Stripe, after picking the data type you choose: All Records, Created in Last 30 Days, Created in Last 7 Days, or Custom Filter on any field; HubSpot also offers Specified Owners, and Specified Countries appears when the data includes a country. For Attio, the Custom Filter works on text, number, date and select fields, e-mail, phone, domain, name, location and interaction dates and, for people, the company and its domain; owner and other reference fields can't be filtered, and "is empty" / "is not empty" do not work on number, date and select fields. The number of matching records is shown before you import; for Attio it is a rough size ("more than 1,000") when there are more records than the preview loads, and the exact number is known after the import. Google Sheets, Airtable and Notion skip this step — picking the exact sheet, table or database is the filter. Lemlist lets you pick which campaigns to import; Phantombuster and Zoom import the chosen list, agent output or webinar as a whole.
HubSpot with a filter: at most 10,000 records. HubSpot delivers at most 10,000 records for a filtered query (any choice other than All Records). When the filtered count is higher, the import step warns: "With filters, HubSpot delivers at most 10,000 records — the first 10,000 will be imported. Narrow the filter, or import without a filter to get everything." The import then brings in the first 10,000 instead of failing, and a later Reload or automatic refresh of that list also covers at most the first 10,000 matches.
Whatever the source, an online import also stops at 50,000 records — the most one list can hold.
While an online import runs, the "Creating your list..." screen shows "N records loaded …" for Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Stripe.
Connections are shared in your workspace#
An account you connect belongs to the workspace you're in: every member can use it, and actions with it run under your login. See "What access you grant when connecting a CRM or app".
Credits and what's stored#
Importing from a connected app costs credits for every request ListPlus makes to the tool to read the records (a request that did not get through is not charged); the previews and pickers in the wizard are not charged (a plain file upload — CSV, Excel or JSON — has its own, different price; all prices are in "Price list: what every action costs"). Each connection uses that service's own secure login (OAuth); your login credentials for HubSpot, Google, Salesforce and the rest are never stored on ListPlus's servers, whatever plan you're on.
Disconnecting an account#
Open Settings → Connected accounts and click Disconnect on the account, or, in the New List flow, click the same source again and click the small delete (trash) icon on the connected account. The workspace owner, an admin or the person who connected it can disconnect. Click Connect new account to add a different login for that service afterwards.
For advanced users#
The "3,000+ apps" tile (the "Choose an app" window) reaches a much larger catalog than the curated systems above; anything found there imports through the same generic connect-and-pick-a-record-type flow, without the curated filter presets. Pasting a public link (including a publicly viewable Google Sheets link) is a separate, login-free path — see "Importing from a URL or a Google Sheets link" for how that differs from connecting your Google account here.

FAQ#
How do I connect a CRM or app to a new list?#
On the New List page, click a source under "Connect a system" (Google Sheets, HubSpot, Attio) or click the 3,000+ apps tile to find another one, such as Airtable. A connection dialog opens in the page, and after Continue that service's own secure sign-in window; after you approve access there, pick the connected account and choose what to import.
Which systems can I connect?#
Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Google Sheets, Airtable, Lemlist, Notion, Stripe, Phantombuster and Zoom are all built in, and the 3,000+ apps tile searches a much larger catalog for anything else. Each curated system imports specific record types, like Deals and Contacts from HubSpot or Customers and Invoices from Stripe.
Which plan do I need to connect a specific system?#
Google Sheets, Airtable, Lemlist, Phantombuster, Zoom and other apps need Pro; HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Attio, Notion and Stripe need Premium, and nothing that goes through a connected tool works on Basic. In a workspace the owner's plan decides, not yours. See "Which plan do I need?" for what the lock screen shows and how to upgrade.
What can I import from HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive?#
HubSpot offers Deals, Companies or Contacts; Salesforce offers Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts or Leads; Pipedrive offers Deals, Persons, Organizations or Activities. Pick one data type per import — run the connect flow again to bring in another.
What can I import from Attio, and what does the list look like?#
Attio offers People, Companies, or A list (you then pick one of your Attio lists); deals and custom objects can't be picked as a data type of their own. The list gets one column per Attio attribute, named by the attribute's title and including empty ones, plus Name, First name, Last name, Email, Phone, Domain, City, State, Postal code, Country, Company, Company domain, the owner by name and an Attio URL. Further e-mails, phones and domains go into Other emails, Other phones and Other domains.
What is the _attio_id column, and does reloading Attio update only changes?#
_attio_id holds the Attio record id (for a list imported from "A list": the id of the list entry); keep that column, because reload and write-back match rows by it. Reload from Attio always loads everything — there is no "only changes" update.
What can I import from Google Sheets, Airtable or Notion?#
For Google Sheets you pick a spreadsheet and then a specific sheet; for Airtable you pick a base and then a table, and all its records import; for Notion you pick a database that's shared with the connection, and its records import. None of these three has a separate filter step — picking the exact sheet, table or database is how you narrow it down.
What can I import from Stripe, Lemlist, Phantombuster or Zoom?#
Stripe offers Customers, Charges, Invoices, Subscriptions or Payment Intents; Lemlist offers Leads from the campaigns you pick or Unsubscribes; Phantombuster offers a lead list or a specific agent's latest run output; Zoom offers a webinar's Registrants or its Participants (who actually attended).
Can I filter what gets imported?#
For Attio (People and Companies), HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Stripe you choose All Records, Created in Last 30 Days, Created in Last 7 Days or a Custom Filter; HubSpot also offers Specified Owners. Attio's Custom Filter can't use owner or other reference fields, and the exact match count is shown before import. Lemlist lets you pick campaigns; Google Sheets, Airtable and Notion have no filter step.
Does connecting an app and importing cost credits?#
Yes — every request ListPlus makes to the connected system to read the records costs credits (see the price list); the preview in the import wizard is not charged. A plain file upload (CSV, Excel or JSON) is priced as a file import instead; see "Price list: what every action costs" for the prices.
Is my login for HubSpot, Google or Salesforce stored by ListPlus?#
No. Each connection uses that service's own secure sign-in window, and your login credentials are never stored on ListPlus's servers — this applies on every plan. The access you approve is held by the secure sign-in service, not by ListPlus, and you can remove it at any time by disconnecting the account.
How do I disconnect a connected account?#
Open Settings → Connected accounts and click Disconnect on the account, or click the small delete icon on it in the New List flow. The workspace owner, an admin or the person who connected it can disconnect it; click Connect new account afterwards to add a different login.
Can I import a public Google Sheets link without connecting my Google account?#
Yes — pasting a publicly viewable link is a separate, login-free path from connecting your Google account here, which instead needs Pro and lets you browse your own private spreadsheets. See "Importing from a URL or a Google Sheets link" for how the link-based method works and what it costs.
What happens to a connection I already made if I downgrade my plan?#
The account stays connected but is not used: a sync, reload or export answers that the plan is needed, and an automatic refresh shows that the plan is needed and resumes by itself after an upgrade. See "Will my connected HubSpot, Google Sheets etc. keep working if I downgrade to Basic?" in Cancel, downgrade and leave.
Why does my filtered HubSpot list stop at 10,000 records?#
HubSpot delivers at most 10,000 records for a filtered query, so an import with a filter (anything but All Records) brings in the first 10,000 matches, and the import step warns you before that; later reloads and automatic refreshes also cover at most the first 10,000. Narrow the filter, or import without a filter, to get everything.
Can a connected list like HubSpot or Airtable update itself without me clicking Reload?#
Yes, for lists from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Airtable, Notion, Attio or Stripe: set Refresh automatically to Daily or Weekly under Set up → Refresh automatically in that list (the Set up button is in the list header). Google Sheets, scraper imports and file imports don't support this; see "Reload: what's kept, what's lost" for how it runs.
