Invoices and VAT

Updated Markdown

Every payment on ListPlus, subscriptions and credit packs alike, runs through Stripe Managed Payments. The name on your receipt and invoice is Sold Through Link, LLC, a Stripe company that handles the sale for us as merchant of record ("Sold through Link"): Link calculates and collects the VAT or sales tax, emails you the receipt and the invoice and answers questions about the payment itself. ListPlus (salesperformer GmbH) provides the product: your plan and your credits.

Where to find your invoices#

After every payment Link emails you a receipt and an invoice with tax shown ("Rechnung mit Steuerausweis"), each with a PDF attached. The line item reads "salesperformer GmbH · …", for example "salesperformer GmbH · Starter Pack — 150 credits". You can also see your order history at link.com — sign in there with the email address you paid with; if you paid as a guest, Link invites you to create an account to get there.

In ListPlus, Settings → Plan & billing (gear icon in the left rail, or avatar menu → Settings) lists your invoices under Invoices, with a PDF button where one is available.

Payment method and billing address#

You can change both in two places:

  • Settings → Plan & billing: Payment method → Change and Billing address → Edit open Stripe on that exact step and bring you back to Settings.
  • link.com: update the payment method and billing address of your orders, and see or cancel your subscription.

Your billing address decides the tax: Link calculates VAT or sales tax from it, so keep it current.

Who sees this in a workspace#

Only the workspace owner sees invoices and the payment method in ListPlus, because the owner's plan and credits pay for the whole workspace. Members see their own current plan and a note that plan and credits run through the owner — ask the owner for an invoice.

VAT and your VAT ID#

All ListPlus prices are net: VAT is never included and is added on top at checkout. Link calculates the VAT, sales tax or GST for your country from your billing address, shows it before you pay, collects it and pays it to the tax authorities, for both subscriptions and credit packs. In Germany, for example, the invoice shows "USt. – Deutschland 19 %".

Buying for a company? Choose Buy as a business in the checkout and enter your company name and VAT ID. Link then applies the reverse-charge mechanism where the law provides for it, and the invoice shows your company and VAT ID. For a question about the VAT on an invoice already issued, contact Link support at support.link.com, which handles invoice questions for purchases sold through Link; you can also email support@listplus.ai and we'll help you find the answer.

Correcting an invoice already issued#

Link issues the invoices, so a corrected invoice comes from Link: ask at support.link.com with the purchase date and amount. A billing address you change applies to payments from that point on.

For advanced users#

On your card statement the payment appears as LINK.COM* LISTPLUS (or a similar descriptor starting with "LINK.COM*"). Payments in the EU are processed by Stripe Technology Europe, Limited. Prices are set in euros for customers in Europe and in US dollars everywhere else (see "Why do I see prices in dollars?" in "Plans and pricing"); the checkout can also show and charge the amount converted into your local currency, and each invoice is in the currency that purchase was actually charged in.

FAQ#

Where do I download my invoices?#

Link emails you a receipt and an invoice with a PDF after every payment, subscription or credit pack. Your order history is also at link.com, and Settings → Plan & billing → Invoices lists the invoices in ListPlus with a PDF button where one is available.

How do I get an invoice for a credit pack?#

The same way as a subscription invoice: Link emails it to you with a PDF right after the payment, and the order is in your history at link.com. Check the inbox of the email address you paid with.

I cancelled my subscription — how do I get my old invoices?#

They stay in your emails from Link and in your order history at link.com, and they stay listed under Settings → Plan & billing → Invoices after your plan reverts to Basic. If one is missing, ask Link support at support.link.com or email support@listplus.ai with the purchase date and amount.

Can I enter my VAT ID when I pay?#

Yes. In the checkout, choose Buy as a business and enter your company name and VAT ID. Link then applies the reverse-charge mechanism where the law provides for it, and the invoice shows your company and VAT ID. For a VAT question about an invoice already issued, contact Link support at support.link.com, or email support@listplus.ai.

How is VAT calculated at checkout?#

ListPlus prices never include VAT. Link adds the VAT, sales tax or GST for your country on top, calculated from your billing address, and shows it before you pay, for every subscription and credit pack purchase. Link also pays it to the tax authorities.

I forgot to enter my VAT ID — can my invoice be corrected?#

Invoices come from Link, so ask Link support at support.link.com with the purchase date and amount. You can also email support@listplus.ai and we'll help.

Can I change the company name or address on an invoice?#

For future payments, update your billing address in Settings → Plan & billing → Billing address → Edit, or at link.com. For an invoice already issued, ask Link support at support.link.com with the purchase date and amount.

Which currency are my invoices in?#

Whichever currency you paid in: prices are set in euros for Europe (EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland or the Balkans) and US dollars everywhere else, and the checkout can convert the amount into your local currency. Each invoice shows the amount in that purchase's own currency.

Where do I see what I've paid, besides the invoice?#

Every purchase appears immediately as a PURCHASE row with its amount on the Credits & usage page in Settings — see "Where did my credits go?" for the full breakdown. Your orders are also listed at link.com.

I'm on Basic — where do I find my invoices?#

The same place as on any plan: in your emails from Link, at link.com, and under Settings → Plan & billing → Invoices. A credit pack bought on Basic is there too.

Where exactly do I manage billing — is there a "customer portal"?#

Two places. In ListPlus, Settings → Plan & billing has your plan and next charge, payment method, billing address and your invoices; its buttons open Stripe on that one step and bring you back. At link.com you see your orders and can cancel or update your subscription, payment method and billing address.

Does ListPlus send an invoice automatically after I pay?#

Link does: after every subscription charge and every credit pack purchase it emails you a receipt and an invoice with tax shown, with PDFs attached — no request needed.

Because ListPlus sells through Stripe Managed Payments, where Sold Through Link, LLC (a Stripe company) handles the sale for us as merchant of record. Your statement shows "LINK.COM*" followed by our name, for example LINK.COM* LISTPLUS. It's your ListPlus purchase.
